IMDi works to achieve a stronger diversity perspective in the public sector. Among other things, this means adapting public services so that everyone receives a service that is adapted to his or her needs, irrespective of ethnic background.
IMDi is also concerned with facilitating participation and it encourages broad participation in elections. Other important areas are the new citizenship ceremony, living conditions for children and young people, and efforts to combat forced marriages.
